According to the United Nations, there are more than 150 million orphans and orphaned children in the world. Orphans are most affected by war, crisis, poverty and natural disasters.

Current policies on orphans and orphaned children do not meet the needs. In order to meet their material and moral needs, permanent, sustainable and solution-oriented efforts are required.
