Many families in Pakistan cannot reach clean and safe drinking water. In rural areas people meet their daily needs from unsafe sources, and the water they carry home leaves them exposed to waterborne disease. Children fall ill first.
With your support we are now drilling a deep water well in Pakistan and setting up a treatment plant that makes the water safe to use. Around 2,500 people will benefit from the project.
You can be part of this work and help the families of the region reach clean and safe drinking water.
How is a deep well and treatment plant built?
We begin by finding a suitable water source in the area and drilling deep enough to reach the groundwater. The water that comes up is carried to the treatment plant, where harmful substances and pollutants are removed.
Once the necessary checks are complete, the clean water is opened for the use of everyone in the area. We keep the well and the treatment plant under regular maintenance and repair so that they serve for many years. In this way the region gains a permanent answer to its need for clean water.
Together, let us bring clean water within reach of a whole village.
