Families displaced by disaster and crisis in Somalia face serious risks from illnesses that, with basic care, would never become serious at all.
Our work on the ground keeps showing the same thing: what people need most is consistent, timely medical attention. Through a project run in partnership with the Zamzam University Faculty of Medicine, we carry out regular health screenings for people living in camps and provide the medications needed to support their treatment.
Every week, on set days, our teams reach hundreds of people. Medications that matter most to children, mothers, and those living with chronic conditions are delivered safely and on time. Illnesses that would otherwise worsen are caught early, and living conditions, slowly, improve.
Your support can help a patient reach treatment, a child recover, and a family find some ground to stand on.
