Afghanistan Solar Energy Training

In many parts of Afghanistan, the electricity grid is weak or never arrived at all. Families have turned to solar panels to light their homes, and these systems are now spreading across regions that once had no reliable power. As more panels go up, the need for trained technicians who can maintain and repair them keeps growing.
Many young Afghans, meanwhile, struggle to find a way to earn a living. Economic hardship and a shortage of jobs make it hard for them to learn a trade that could support them and their families.
Through this project, we are giving 40 young people in Logar province theoretical and hands-on vocational training in the maintenance and repair of solar energy systems. With these technical skills, they can find work, start their own business, or offer repair services that bring in a steady income. Their training also helps the solar systems in the region last longer and run more efficiently.
By supporting this project, you can help young people in Afghanistan learn a trade, specialize in a field that can sustain them, and look to the future with hope.
Together, let's help them stand on their own two feet.
