Hearing Screening

Congenital hearing loss delays or completely prevents children from speaking. Undiagnosed or late-diagnosed hearing loss negatively affects a child's language, social, emotional, cognitive and academic development. As a result, the overall quality of life does not reach the desired level in adulthood.

With this project, we aim to provide neonatal hearing screening and early diagnosis to hundreds of children in Syria, where the war has destroyed the health infrastructure.
