Emergency Aid
War, civil conflict, earthquake, flood, tsunami, fire, landslide, drought, epidemic disease, poverty, famine... Millions of people around the world who have been victimised for such reasons are struggling to survive. Thousands of families perish every day due to non-stop wars. Despite all these, reaching the victimised or oppressed people who are struggling to survive is the biggest goal of emergency aid efforts.
Emergency aid works constitute an important pillar of IHH's activities in the field of humanitarian aid. In addition to meeting the urgent needs of the victimised people, informing the world public opinion against a possible conflict, crisis and war situation, and carrying out activities to prevent crises are at the heart of the emergency aid activities of our foundation.
Our emergency aid activities we carry out against extraordinary situations occurring anywhere in the world:
- Distribution of food, clothing and other basic necessities
- Providing safe environments for women, children, elderly and orphans
- Establishment of need units such as tents, prefabricated shelters, mobile kitchens
- Mobile health truck, supply of medicine-medical supplies, surgery and similar health aids
