What is Aqiqah qurban?
The qurban sacrificed to show gratitude to Allah on the birth of a child is called “aqiqah.” Sacrificing an aqiqah qurban is highly encouraged.
Can the qurban be sacrificed by proxy?
In the same way that a person can perform the sacrifice himself, he can also appoint a proxy to perform the sacrifice. A person can appoint a proxy in the country he lives, and can also appoint a person or organization in another country as proxy to perform the sacrifice. A proxy can be appointed verbally or in writing, and also by telephone, internet, fax and similar means of communication.
When and where will the aqiqah qurban I donated be sacrificed?
The aqiqah quban you donate will be sacrificed within 15-30 days in the regions determined by IHH’s qurban commission where there is urgent need.
Who is the aqiqah qurban I donated distributed to?
When you aqiqah qurban is sacrificed, it will be divided and distributed to the poor in regions where there is urgent need, to refugees, to the victims of war and natural disasters, orphaned families, to the elderly, orphans and those who are suffering from poverty.
