The massive flooding in Bangladesh started when the gates of a dam in India opened. This, combined with heavy monsoon rains, caused widespread destruction in many parts of the country. More than a hundred villages were submerged, thousands of homes and farmland were destroyed, and people's access to food and clean water was almost completely cut off.
People affected by the disaster are in urgent need of food and hygiene supplies. Volunteers and rescue teams in the region are doing what they can with limited resources, but aid remains inadequate.
Now, with your support, we will deliver emergency relief supplies to Bangladeshi families in need. Let's heal their wounds together.
