The thousands of students who come to Turkey to continue their education await your kind support. Extend a helping hand to the guest students in our country; let them study with your bursary support.
Nearly 150 thousand students from 203 countries and regions of the world who for various reasons are unable to continue their educational lives in their own country are continuing their education in Turkey. However, these students are facing a lot of difficulties. Among the major difficulties they face are accommodation and financial insufficiency. Our Foundation and UDEF (International Federation of Student Associations) are conducting a scholarship campaign to minimize the problems experienced by guest students. With this campaign each of these students is provided a financial bursary support of 31 $ or 28 €.
IHH and UDEF give bursary to 2000 students from different parts of the world. In 2018-2019 education periods, 55 thousand students’ needs were met. The guest students who receive their education in Turkey return to their country as educated individuals offering services to their people. In addition to being good persons, these students also contribute to the development of their country.

Dina of Aceh;
I grew up in an orphanage built by IHH in the Ace region of Indonesia. Over here I regained the family and hope I lost in the tsunami disaster. I was a successful student and for that matter I had the opportunity to study in Turkey. I came to Turkey in the year 2013. Within the 5 years’ time frame I have always asked myself: “Why will the Turkish people share everything of theirs to people like me they never knew?” and I have found the answer to this question. Because the Turkish people have understood the true meaning of brotherhood. Throughout my stay in Turkey I learnt three things; hope, sharing and brotherhood.
