The sacrifices are purchased by IHH officials in accordance with the criteria required for Qurban worship in the countries and regions where the work will be carried out.

On the first day of Eid al-Adha, the sacrifices are slaughtered after the Eid prayer according to Islamic procedures. After Eid al-Fitr, the slaughtered sacrifices are divided into shares and distributed to those in need.

We were there

'I haven't sacrificed qurban for 30 years.'

After delivering the sacrificial shares to those in need in Karachi, we went to the capital Islamabad. On the second day of Eid, we continued slaughtering. We distributed the shares to those who came to the slaughter center in Islamabad. We also went to the houses of those who could not come and delivered some of them by hand. One of these houses was that of Uncle Ghulam Qadir, who lived with his family in a rough construction site. Our visit made him very happy. As soon as we arrived, he greeted us by saying, "I will pray for you a lot, may Allah be pleased with you." He recently underwent cataract surgery and has not yet fully recovered. That is why she cannot work regularly. "Sometimes I find daily jobs and sometimes my friends help me." I asked him if he had ever slaughtered a sacrifice in his life. "I did it when I was young, about 30 years ago. Then I never had the opportunity."

When I told Uncle Ghulam that we brought many greetings from Turkey, he took our greetings by looking into my eyes and holding my hand tightly. He prayed a lot and sent us off.
