The International Intern Training Program, organized in cooperation with the IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation and the Doha Institute, concluded with a closing ceremony following a six-week training period. A dramatic rise in water levels across the Euphrates River basin has triggered severe flooding in eastern Syria, leaving thousands of families in urgent need of assistance. In response, the IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation swiftly mobilized relief efforts and delivered an emergency aid truck to the affected region of Deir ez-Zor.

As part of its 2026 Qurbani program, the IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation delivered the meat of 94,467 Qurbani shares entrusted to it to people in need across 61 countries. The foundation also distributed Eid clothing to 32,322 orphans and underprivileged children in 26 countries. Through its 2026 Qurbani campaign, IHH carried out the slaughtering and distribution of a total of 94,467 Qurbani shares. The meat from the sacrificed animals was delivered to families in need in 61 countries.

The IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation launched a large-scale relief effort for the civilians facing a humanitarian crisis following the Israeli and U.S. attacks in Iran. Having previously sent four trucks to Iran, the foundation dispatched seven more trucks loaded with medicine, food packages, and basic necessities to the country.

The 5th International Symposium on Islamic Culture and Civilization, organized under the leadership of the IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation and Kocaeli University in collaboration with numerous partner institutions, was held in Kocaeli from May 8–10, 2026. Under the theme “Muslim Minorities,” the three-day symposium comprehensively addressed the legal, sociological, psychological, and jurisprudential issues faced by Muslim minorities living in various regions of the world.

The IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation has completed repairs on the Yakid El Ades Middle School in Aleppo, Syria—a school that sustained significant damage during the civil war—and reopened it for use.
