IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation is continuing its efforts against the effects of coronavirus pandemic that has affected the entire world. Although giving priority in Turkey, IHH is also continuing to deliver aid to those in need abroad. IHH not only distributes aid domestically but also carries out efforts especially to maintain the morale and motivation of our healthcare workers.

As part of these efforts, IHH teams delivered gift packets to show our foundation’s gratitude for the healthcare workers that work day and night for our citizens and distributed these to relevant hospital departments. Before the vehicles departed, every packet was disinfected by IHH.

“We hope this will be a token of our solidarity”

IHH General Secretary Durmuş Aydın thanked all the healthcare workers for their efforts and said he hoped that they would maintain their morale and motivation.

Durmuş Aydın added, “As you know, there is an on-going global struggle to combat the coronavirus that has taken every part of the world by storm for more than three months.  During this process, IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation has stepped up our efforts in this regard, especially in Turkey, and are conducting our operations under the slogan “Now is the Time for Solidarity.” AS we understand, during this process our healthcare workers have shown extreme devotion and effort, and have done everything possible for our people. We in IHH are trying to do whatever we can to support them. We hope that sharing these gifts with our healthcare workers will be a token of unity, solidarity, and brotherhood.”
