Despite the challenging conditions of the war in Syria, education and learning continue under difficult circumstances.
IHH, in its efforts in contributing to the educational lives of thousands of children in Syria through the schools it has built, distributed school bags and stationery sets to 6,500 students in Syria’s Idlib as part of its "Education Support Activities." The students were delighted to receive the sets containing stationery materials such as notebooks, pens, erasers, rulers, and coloring sets, placed inside school bags.
The Education Coordinator of IHH Syria Operations Sebahattin Aydın stated that they exerted great efforts to raise an educated generation. Aydın mentioned that "Just like every year, we distributed school bags and stationery materials to students studying in our schools here in Syria. This initiative benefited 6,500 students attending IHH-built schools. Our educational activities within Syria will continue to ensure the upbringing of individuals who look to the future with hope. We extend our gratitude to everyone who have supported us."
