Qatar’s capital city Doha is going to host an international conference on human rights with participation from 320 local and international organizations.
Qatar National Human Rights Committee (NHRC) and Office of United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) is going to organize the conference, which is tentatively entitled as “Approaches in Fighting for Human Rights During Conflicts in Arab countries.”

The conference is going to tackle the questions of how to end the conflicts in the region, peace keeping and human rights and around 320 national and international organizations including IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation in addition to parliament members and government officials from various countries are expected to attend the event. From IHH President Yildirim will attend as the highest representative.
The conference’s running titles are as follows: strengthening the human rights based approaches in conflicts going on in Arab countries, crisis resolution in Yemen, Iraq, Syria and other countries in the region, boosting the civilian mechanism in order to help law and order prevail and manage the crisis while keeping the human rights protected.
General Secretary of Interior Ministers of Arab Countries and Arab Network of National Offices of Human Rights give support to the conference, which is planned to be held on 20th and 21st of February.
