The IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation delivered two trailer load of relief supplies to the people affected in the Chile earthquake. IHH aid workers distributed emergency relief materials such as food
SouthAmerica, Chile 27.03.2010

Chile was hit on 27 February 2010 by an 8.8 magnitude earthquake, one of the strongest in the country’s history. The earthquake and subsequent tsunami killed more than 800 people and left thousands homeless.

In addition to carrying on relief works in the quake-hit Haiti, the IHH extended a hand to Chile to help the country recover from the destruction caused by the earthquake. Two trailers laden with emergency relief supplies were taken to the city of Concepcion. The affected families who were given foodstuff, water, diapers, etc thanked the benevolent Turkish people for extending their help.
