Eid Outfits for Orphans
IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation will remember orphans in the eid like it does every year; 35.000 orphans will receive eid outfits in 11 countries.
27.08.2016

IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation will remember orphans in the eid like it does every year; 35.000 orphans will receive eid outfits in 11 countries.

There are 400 million orphans around the world who lost their parents due to wars, natural disasters, poverty and diseases. IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation raises awareness about the conditions of orphans worldwide and provides them with better education and living conditions by especially conducting Orphan Sponsorship Programme since 2007.

In this regard IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation is carrying out aid organizations worldwide to let orphan children enter eid al-Adha happily and peacefully.

IHH will repeat the goodwill campaign that it has carried out in Eid Al-Fitr to cheer up 70.000 orphan children in Eid Al-Adha as well. Hence IHH will distribute eid outfits to 34.719 orphans in 11 countries.

Objectives of the Project

  • To help orphans cheer up in the eid by giving away brand new outfits to them
  • To create a feeling of solidarity and brotherhood through aid for eid outfits.
  • To meet the clothing needs of orphan children in conjunction with eid
  • To let them have a brighter outlook for life and future when their basic needs are met.
  • To visit orphan families and let them feel that they are not alone.
  • To prevent cultural degeneration caused by missionary and colonial mind-set in the countries
  • To boost self confidence and improve the organizational skills of Muslim communities in the regions visited by IHH teams
  • To contribute to the re-establishment of stability in the regions of political crisis
  • 000 Orphans in 11 Countries
