The disaster, which continues to impact various parts of the country, has caused extensive damage across hundreds of settlements. So far, 753 people have lost their lives and 2,600 have been injured. An additional 650 people are still missing, and 576,300 residents have been displaced. Relief efforts in several isolated villages remain difficult due to blocked roads and damaged communication lines. Authorities have warned that further rainfall could create new risks and urged the public to remain vigilant.
