IHH continues to deliver food aid, winter relief to Syrian refugees
IHH teams in Kilis continue to deliver relief to Syrian refugees.
MiddleEast, Syria, Turkey 14.11.2012

After the Eid al-Adha, a fifty-member IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation team continued to deliver sacrificial meat to the Syrian refugees who took shelter in Kilis. The aid volunteers also mad a list of the necessary items for the newcomers and continued their relief efforts throughout the week.

After the meat packages were stored in cold storage rooms in a hygienic way, IHH teams delivered the packages, each of which weighs five kilograms, to 2,000 families.

Other volunteer groups have been preparing winter relief packages which include blankets, shoes and warm clothes for women, men and children. They deliver 100-200 of these packages to the families in need in Kilis every day.

IHH volunteers have completed the distribution of blankets to 2,000 families and they have plans to continue with the delivery of warm clothes and furniture.

Preparing packages according to the needs of an eight-member family, the volunteers have delivered blankets, meat, dry food, legumes, clothes, shoes, furniture, baby sets, hygiene kits, sanitary sets and cleaning sets so far.

In the meantime, our teams also pay visits to the houses of the refugees, listen to their problems and give them moral support. They receive the prayers of the refugees with these efforts.
