The Syrians who marched to the northern border of Lebanon to escape the ongoing chaos in their country are living under hard conditions. The relief team of the IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation delivered aid supplies to refugees staying at two schools in the village of Khalid, in Akar region on the Syrian border.
The IHH provided help to the refugees staying at Madrasah al-Iman and Madrasah al-Rama schools to install fully-equipped kitchens, bathrooms, and washing machines. As a result, the 36 families here are living in better conditions now.
The IHH is stepping up relief works in the region as the month of Ramadan draws near. The aid team rented a depot to store aid supplies to be distributed to the refugees in Ramadan. The IHH team in Lebanon also held several talks and meetings to discuss the situation of the refugees.
