IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation and Association of International Doctors (AID) offered medical examinations to the Syrians in a refugee camp in Qah, a town in Syrian province of Idlib.
MiddleEast, Syria, Turkey 21.01.2013

A medical team including four doctors, four nurses, two sanitarians and one pharmacist offered medical examinations to 1,000 Syrians in Qah camp most of whom were children.

The picture painted by the results of the examinations of the 11-member medical team was worrisome.

In addition to chronic diseases, camp residents suffer from many diseases such as urethritis, respiratory tract infection, anemia, diabetes and yellow color.

Medicines have been given to the Syrians who were diagnosed with a certain type of disease while those who need urgent medical care will be sent to Turkey to receive treatment at Turkish hospitals.

In the meantime, IHH has recently offered medical screenings to 11,000 people living in camps in Syria.
