IHH sent 17 trucks consisting of 500 tons of flour to Syria with the support of Human Appeal, an Australian charity organisation.
IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation is continuing to support civilians in war-torn Syria with the aid of charity organisations in Turkey and abroad. Humanitarian aid sent from Turkey to Syria by IHH is continuing to be delivered to those in need.
Recently, 17 trucks consisting of 500 tons of flour was sent with the support of Human Appeal.
Issam Chaouk who is the project manager at Human Appeal spoke before the departure of the trucks at the IHH Syria Support Reyhanli Coordination Centre and said that "We did not abandon our Syrian brothers and sisters for the past 5 years. Today we are sending close to 500 tons of flour to Syria. We will deliver 17 trucks of aid to Syria together with IHH."
The 17 trucks were sent off with prayers. The trucks consisting of flour will enter from the Cilvegozu border gate and will be distributed to those in need in Idlib, Aleppo and Hama.
