After the pouring rain stuck Malaysia, IHH and Al-Imdaad Foundation both went to Malaysia to offer a helping hand. There were damages in 5 cities after the 4 day continuous rain.

IHH Emergency Aid Team went to the region with South Africa's Al-Imdaad Foundation. They observed "Kelantan" a region which suffered the most damage and made a list of all the necessities, then they prepared a report.

According to the report, most people were left homeless while the other's food, hygiene and clothing materials were no longer in an useable state. The flood also affected the agriculture area severely, while in some places animals were also perished.

Within this scope, they identified the main necessities to be shelter, hygienic packaging, food packaging, water treatment and medicine. The team then distributed emergency aid packages to the families affected by the disaster.
