Throughout the 2025 Ramadan, IHH provided aid to 3,099,227 people in need across four continents and 67 countries. Operating under the slogan “Ramadan: A Call for Unity,” the foundation organized iftar and suhoor meal distributions, distributed food packages and Eid clothing, and delivered zakat, fitrah, and fidyah from benefactors to those in need. IHH distributed 781,995 iftar and suhoor meals across 34 countries this year.
IHH Distributed 267,300 Food Packages and Grocery Cards
This Ramadan IHH distributed 120,625 food packages abroad and 146,675 food packages and grocery cards within Turkey, distributing a total of 267,300 food aids, assisting a total of 1,336,500 people.
We also distributed zakat, fitrah, and fidyah to 11,944 families abroad and 12,873 families in Türkiye, benefiting a total of 124,085 people.
IHH also distributed Eid clothing to 32,463 children abroad and 19,862 children in Türkiye, gifting a total of 52,325 children with festive outfits.
What About Palestine?
Despite the attacks by the occupying Israeli forces, IHH carried out Ramadan aid operations in Palestine, distributing iftar meals to 486,345 people, 8,729 food packages, and cash assistance to 1,400 families.
The foundation operates 10 community kitchens in northern Gaza and seven in the south, distributing 4,595,000 hot meals in collaboration with the World Food Programme (WFP), aside from its Ramadan projects. The joint initiative between WFP and IHH is still ongoing.
What Did IHH Do in War and Crisis Regions this Ramadan?
As in previous years, IHH extended its Ramadan aid efforts to war and crisis regions. In Sudan, we distributed 11,320 food packages, provided iftar meals for 35,895 people, and cash assistance to 675 families. Additionally, preparations for the “6th Goodness Ship,” scheduled to be sent in April, are ongoing.
In Syria, IHH provided iftar meals to 166,611 people and distributed zakat, fitrah, and fidyah to 2,325 families. Beyond its Ramadan efforts, the foundation sent 124 aid trucks, delivered 526 tons of flour, distributed 7,582,888 loaves of bread, and provided clothing for 52,927 people through charity stores.
In Yemen, IHH distributed 3,903 food packages, provided iftar meals to 8,202 people, and delivered cash assistance to 400 families.
Orphan Support
IHH’s iftar and suhoor programs in 34 orphanages across eight countries benefited 2,472 orphaned children. Additionally, to mark the “April 15 – World Orphans Day,” the foundation organized various post-iftar celebrations and orphan-focused events in several orphanages.
