Syria 25.01.2026

Through intensive contacts by the Humanitarian Diplomacy Unit of the IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation, an important process was initiated to open the humanitarian aid corridor. Aid shipments to the region began via the opened corridor. IHH sent six lorries of humanitarian aid materials from Aleppo to Ayn al-Arab to be distributed to civilians negatively affected by the conflicts and harsh winter conditions, who are experiencing difficulties in accessing basic necessities. The lorries carried blankets, mattresses, quilts, food parcels, bread, ready-to-eat food, boots and coats. The aid is intended to contribute to meeting the basic humanitarian needs of civilians affected by the clashes.

IHH continues its aid activities for civilians facing hardship in areas where clashes are ongoing.
