Carrying out humanitarian aid activities in Syria since 2011, IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation has intensified its aid efforts in the region with the developments since November 27.
Selim Tosun, IHH Syria Efforts Media Officer, stated in his last explanation about the recent aids that all means were mobilized to meet basic needs. Tosun said “We continue to deliver aids to families living in rural and urban centers of Aleppo, Hama, Homs and Damascus, as well as in areas such as Tal Rifaat, Latakia and Manbij, and to families returning to their hometowns.”
Aid to thousands of families since November 27
Tosun shared the details of the aids and said:
“During this process, we sent more than 60 humanitarian aid trucks to Syria through Kilis Oncupinar and Reyhanli Cilvegozu border gates. We also distributed 800 thousand pieces of bread and 10 thousand emergency food packages. Again, as winter supplies, we delivered blankets, winter clothes, food and similar necessities. As IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation, we will continue our aid efforts for the people in need in Syria.”
