Heavy rain in Eastern Anatolia caused massive flooding in the city of Agrı. Hundreds of homes and workplaces were inundated by the floodwaters from Taslicay and Murat Rivers and a bridge collapsed. A child was killed during the flood.

Immediately after the disastrous flood, government officials and aid organizations rushed off to the region to help out the families hit by the disaster.
