IHH teams take responsibility for Syrian Turkmen
IHH teams distributed aid to Turkmen families who took shelter in the Harcele village that is near the Turkish border.
Syria 20.08.2014

Seventy five Turkmen families who had built very rough tents are awaiting the end of the attacks so they can return to their homes. The Turkmen have stated that many family members have been killed and injured and that those that have been injured have been able to get treatment at the Kilis State Hospital.

IHH has gone to the aid of the Turkmen who are now refugees in the same manner that it has helped others who have suffered since the Syrian war began.

In the first stage IHH has distributed food water and blankets. For the first time IHH has determined the need for tents and have sourced them for the refugees from the logistic centre.
