Those present included Mr Göksun; Durmuş Aydın and Mahmut Yeşilyurt, members of the Board of Trustees; Hasan Aynacı, Board Member and Gulf Special Representative; Muhammed Beşir Beşir, Coordinator of the Arab Countries Relations Unit; and Barış Aksoy, Qatar Representative.
The meeting addressed the responsibilities of civil society organisations in the face of deepening humanitarian crises on a global and regional scale. It also emphasised the supportive roles of the İHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation and Qatar Charity in providing humanitarian aid, responding to emergencies, rebuilding, promoting social development, and engaging in humanitarian diplomacy.
Nawaf el-Hammadi, Qatar Charity's Vice President, emphasised the importance of the strategic partnership between the two organisations. He also expressed Qatar Charity's openness to developing new collaborations with the İHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation.
