50,000 Syrians are living in IHH's camps
50,000 Syrians, mainly consisting of females and children are living in IHH's campsites.
Syria 18.12.2014

50,000 Syrians, mainly consisting of women and children are living in IHH's campsites.

The attacks on the Syrian civilians are continuing for over 4 years now. People are forced to leave their homes, as their city turn into rubble one by one. Those who have no other choice but to leave their homes seek refuge in neighboring countries where they will be partially safer. One of the safest borders to seek refuge in, is Turkey.

There are more than 500,000 Syrians living along Turkey's border. While some of them have the intention to stay there for a longer period, others are trying to return back home once it becomes safer. There are currently 200,000 people living along the popular borderline for the migrants.

IHH has been supporting the people since the attacks started. They are currently working on new sustainable projects for the refugees living along the borderline.

They are building homes for those who are stuck outside most of the time, and have no other choice but to seek refuge under trees.

The container and tent cities established on the cross-border contain dining areas, health centers, mosques, schools, parks and green parks for the kids to play in.
