IHH Ramadan food store trucks are on their way

With the month of Ramadan approaching, IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation has speeded up their work. The food packages that will be distributed in Turkey, within the month of Ramadan, are now on their way. The trucks departed with prayers from IHH’s Çorlu depot.

As every year, IHH Humanitarian Relief foundation will not leave the less fortunate alone. In order for them to enjoy the month of Ramadan, IHH will provide food aid to the needy people in 78 provinces in Turkey.

The preparation for the food packages that will be distributed to the needy people started many days ago with great care in IHH’s Çorlu depot.

As of yesterday, the food packages that were packed into the trucks headed towards determined provinces with prayers.

Within the scope of Ramadan this year, IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation will distribute approximately 25,000 food packages to 78 provinces. In addition, 10, 000 special food packages will be prepared and distributed to orphan and disadvantaged children.

Donors who want a needy family, to spend the month of Ramadan pleasantly, can buy a food package for 35 USD through our foundation.

More than 300 shopkeepers donate one day’s earnings to Gaza

More than 300 shopkeepers in Istanbul’s Sarıyer district will donate today’s earnings to Gaza through the IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation. Speaking at the press conference organized for the aid campaign, Yasin Çalışkan, a member of the IHH Sarıyer District Executive Board, said: “More than 300 of our shopkeepers in Sarıyer’s İstinye, Pınar, Ferahevler and Yeniköy neighborhoods have decided to donate today’s earnings to Gaza. With the event titled ‘My Earnings Turn into Goodness in Gaza,’ our shopkeepers are both taking on an important responsibility and creating social awareness by donating their income to Gaza.”
