Humanitarian Aid Ship Arrives in Lebanon
The humanitarian aid ship prepared as part of the "Immediate Humanitarian Mobilization for Lebanon" campaign, initiated by nine non-governmental organizations including the İHH Humanitarian Foundation, has arrived in Lebanon. The ship carries 1,000 tons of aid materials, including food, hygiene, clothing, and shelter.

The humanitarian aid ship, prepared collaboratively by İHH Humanitarian Foundation, Sadakataşı Derneği, Yetim Vakfı, Yeryüzü Doktorları Derneği, Sadece İnsan Derneği, Fetih Vakfı, AID International Doctors Association, Umut Ol Derneği, and Darul Eytam Vakfı reached the Port of Beirut with 1,000 tons of humanitarian aid materials. The ship was welcomed at the port by AK Party Member of Parliament Hasan Turan, President of the Lebanon-Turkey Parliamentary Friendship Group Hasan Murad, Turkey's Ambassador to Lebanon H.E. Ali Barış Ulusoy, Secretary General of the Lebanese High Relief Commission Muhammed Hayr, and representatives of civil society organizations.

We Are Not Leaving Lebanon Alone

Speaking during the welcoming event, H.E. Ali Barış Ulusoy stated that they stand by Lebanon in every way, emphasizing that "We have once again showed today that we do not leave our brotherly Lebanon, which is experiencing a humanitarian crisis that is increasingly worsening and is targeted by Israeli aggression, alone, not only with our state institutions but also with our civil society organizations."

Support in Various Areas

The materials contained in the humanitarian aid ship include: 259 search and rescue equipment, 31,554 blankets, 9,484 boxes of baby diapers, 4,900 food packages, 494 boxes of adult diapers, 3,168 packages of 500-gram halva, 2,709 boxes of wet wipes, 155,500 bowls, 10,000 packets of pasta, 5,200 packets of lentils, 167,137 various hygiene products, 395,418 ready-to-eat meals, 8,545 various stationery supplies, 47,892 various medical supplies, 252,096 various textiles, 418 boxes of sheets, 261 boxes of napkins, 9,524 boxes of women's hygiene products, 3,698 bottles of cooking oil, 47,464 food items, 20 tent equipment and tarpaulin, 3,588 boxes of dish detergent, 5,761 boxes of laundry detergent, 40,550 cardboard cups, 5,940 baby biscuits, 2,772 boxes of baby formula, 4,053 boxes of slippers, and 24,000 mattresses and sponges.

The aid on the ship will be delivered to tens of thousands - mostly women and children - affected by the Israeli attacks in various cities of Lebanon.

IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation built a mosque in Yumbe district, 550 kilometers from the capital of Uganda. In the same region, the foundation of the Quran Education Center, where 108 students can study at the same time, was laid, while the construction of a mosque and a water well started in Mpambiri village, 25 kilometers away from the capital.

1,400 families in Syria find their new homes in the City of Hope
IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation and Qatar Charity Organization established “City of Hope” in Tukli village in Azaz region of Syria where 1400 families affected by the civil war will reside. Families who have been staying in Babusselam Refugee Camp under difficult conditions for many years continue to move to the village.
