According to reports from witnesses and doctors, two of Israel’s aerial strikes hit the underground tunnels in Rafah located in southern Gaza.
The same sources reported that other Israeli attacks targeted a training center belonging to Ezzedeen Al-Qassam Brigades in eastern Gaza and an empty field. It was reported that one of the martyrs was a Hamas commander while the two others were security guards.
The number of Palestinians who were martyred in the latest Israeli attacks has risen to 18 while the total number of the martyrs since March 20 when the clashes began has risen to 35. Among the places bombed by Israel were two mosques, one ambulance and many houses. There are concerns about the rise of the death toll further.
The Hamas government had declared a ceasefire in return for the halt of the Israeli attacks; however, the latest Israeli attacks show that a ceasefire is unlikely to continue.
