Jewish businessman Doğan Kasadolu paid a courtesy visit to IHH and expressed his sympathies to IHH for Uğur Söylemez, the 10th martyr of Mavi Marmara and for Gazan children massacred in the recent time by Israel.

Known with his legal struggles in Turkey, Jewish businessman Doğan Kasadolu (David Kazado) visited IHH President Bülent Yıldırım in IHH Central Office in Fatih. Kasadolu expressed his sympathies to Bülent Yıldırım for Uğur Süleyman Söylemez who was shot by Israeli soldiers on Mavi Marmara, struggled to survive for a long time in the hospital and died a few months ago. Moreover Kasadolu expressed that he would cover the expenses of a Gazan child until he is 18.

Kasadolu pointed out that he regarded this visit as a moral obligation and he has been thinking to do it for a long time. He said that his sorrow has been increased with the massacres in Gaza and he also condoled with Yıldırım for the people massacred in Gaza, Palestine a region and and issue that Turkey has been sensitive about.

Kasadolu: I regard this as an atrocity

Reminding his past sayings related to Mavi Marmara, Kasadolu said ¨I regard this attack as an atrocity.¨ Pointing out that Israel didn't have to need a military operation in order to shoot a humanitarian aid ship which didn't have any armed forces and which carried civilians, Kasadolu said ¨This is an atrocity committed before the world's eyes. Israeli soldiers must carry on a lawsuit against their countries and commands as they had given those orders to attack to Mavi Marmara to them. Hereby I express my sympathy and sorrow for 10 martyries of Mavi Marmara.¨

The happenings in Gaza is a shame for humanity

Expressing his thoughts about the Israeli massacre in Gaza, Doğan Kasadolu said that ¨I read the words of a Gazan woman. She says that she has seen seven wars. What is the offense of this woman? Is her fate to be born in a definite region? If she had been born here, she would have lived in air conditioned rooms. Is this worthy for a human being? Today the happenings in Gaza and in the Middle East is really saddening and even a shame for humanity.¨

Yıldırım: This sensibility must increase

Expressing his content with the visit of Doğan Kasadolu, Bülent Yıldırım said ¨First of all, Thank you for your visit and condolences. We have an aim: To protect honor of humanity. Today if they were Jewish children in Tel Aviv who were being killed, we would send Mavi Marmara again. Mavi Marmara was a sign of conscience, a common symbol bearing honor of humanity. There were also Jews and atheists on Mavi Marmara. Today some people accuse us with antisemitism. We don't have any problem with Jews living in Israel. But this Zionism is a pain for all the world. Today Zionism is committing an humanitarian offense in Gaza and making other Jews partners to itself unjustly. We have been warning all the world as this Zionism is becoming dangerous day by day. Therefore, people accusing us with spreading hostility cannot see the future.¨

Jews in Turkey Must Strike an Attitude

Mentioning that Jews in Turkey have a great impact on Israel, Bülent Yıldırım said that ¨Thank you again for taking this risk and taking on responsibility. Hereby, I call on all Jewish businessmen, citizens, tradesmen, artists in Turkey to act against this Zionist massacre or at least to inform public with a statement that they stand against this massacre.¨

At the end of the visit, both Yıldırım and Kasadolu expressed their contentments to each other and Kasadolu said that he would cover expenses of a Gazan child until he is 18 and donated some money to IHH.
