IHH will slaughter Qurbani/Udhiya animals in more than 100 countries and will take the joy of the Eid al-Adha to the oppressed and needy people.
IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation, which will slaughter Qurbani animals in more than 100 countries across the world and 66 provinces and districts in Turkey and deliver fresh meat to the families in need, is helping these people experience the joy of the Eid al-Adha every year.
Qurban is the devotion of Ismail; a father’s presenting his most beloved to the Creator. Qurban means loyalty, worshipping, sharing and abundance. It is a gate opening from one corner of the world to the other. It is a road extending to benevolence to get closer to Allah.
IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation will take the meat of Qurbani animals donated to the foundation by charity givers to people in need in more than 100 countries across the world and 66 provinces and districts in Turkey.
IHH will deliver Qurbani donations in more than 100 countries and regions including Turkey this year. We will embrace our sisters and brothers from every part of the world. IHH teams, which will travel different corners of the world on the occasion of the Eid al-Adha, will not only take a piece of fresh meat to our sisters and brothers who are looking forward to them but they will also continue to support them with various projects aiming to improve their living conditions. The foundations of many mosques, masjids, water wells, education centers, vocational courses, orphanages and many other facilities will be laid during these visits.

“Our sons are here again”
IHH volunteer Emrah Engin who took part in IHH’s Qurbani campaign in Djibouti last year expressed his feelings as: “In a chart given to us by IHH’s partner in Djibouti, all the details of the project, the regions where animals would be slaughtered, the number of animals to be slaughtered and the number of people who would be provided with the fresh meat were all written. We reached our first destination four hours after passing mountains and valleys. We performed the Eid prayer. There was such a beautiful scenery. There was a large area in the coast which was arranged for the prayer and women and men who flock to that area and children in colorful clothes. We were easily noticeable in the crowd. The looks of the locals were like, ‘our sons have come again.’ They were very sincere. We embraced each other with the same sincerity and said ‘Bismillah’ (with the name of Allah) with prayers.”
