The public unrest in Syria, which began months ago, continues incessantly. Syrian people are taking to the streets to voice their demands for reform while the Syrian army kills tens of civilians and detains hundreds of others after every demonstration. In villages which are far away from the center, Syrian people are fleeing their homes to avoid government pressure.

Lebanon is one of the countries where Syrian people take refuge. Syrian families that have fled Syria where public demonstrations continue for the past eight months settle in mostly Vadi Halid and Meste regions. The IHH has been taking relief to 3,500 refugees in this region since their settlement to the area.

After the delivery of propone tanks to 250 Syrian families in Lebanon, the IHH will try to make a list of the aid items needed by the refugees and continue the relief work in the upcoming days.
