Medical examinations offered to students at Anatolia Education Center
Children attending the Anatolia Education Center, which was established by IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation and is the largest orphanage in Somalia, have been offered medical examinations.

Medical examinations have been offered to the students at the center where new education year has recently begun.

A total of 155 children have been offered medical examinations by health teams from the Health Ministry and treatments have begun for those with health problems with the provision of necessary medication. Those with advanced medical problems were referred to hospital for further examinations.

In addition, female students at the center have been informed by experts about what kind of measures they could take against health problems.

A nurse has been assigned to the Anatolia Education Center where students have for the first time underwent medical checkups in their lifetime so that their medical situation can be monitored regularly.
Following the medical examinations, members of the health team who toured the education center posed for souvenir photos with the children and then they left the center.

Bülent Yıldırım, the President of the Humanitarian Relief Foundation (IHH), inspected two purchased ships for the International Freedom Flotilla. Yıldırım stated, "This cargo ship has a capacity of 5,500 tons and its name is Anadolu. It will carry our country's aid and compassion to Gaza. The name of other ship is Vicdan (Conscience). This ship will accommodate conscientious activists from around the world and deliver the conscience of the world to the shores of Gaza."
