New mosque inaugurated in Rwanda
Rwandan Muslims have got a new mosque as their gift for Ramadan.
Africa, Rwanda 07.08.2013

In Rwanda as part of Ramadan aid efforts, aid workers of IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation inaugurated the new mosque named Omar Bin Abdulaziz.

Speaking after the inauguration in the city of Gakenga, IHH Africa Coordinator Serhat Orakçı communicated to Rwandan Muslims Eid greetings from Turkey.

The mosque, which can accommodate 200 worshippers at the same time, is a step towards meeting Rwanda’s need for mosques.

The mosque was built in two sections, one for men and one for women. Many women also attended the opening ceremony.
