As part of the winter campaign initiated by IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation with the slogan "Goodness withstands the cold," 770 tons of coal were distributed to war-affected and needy families residing in the Idlib, Azaz, and Jarabulus regions, northern Syria. A total of 2,567 families benefited from the distributions.

IHH’s Vice Head of Syria Operations Yakup Işık stated that they provided support to earthquake victims in Türkiye and war-affected families in Syria as part of its winter campaign.

2,567 saved from the cold

Işık stated that they would distribute coal to those in need for 3 months: "We have completed our coal distribution for the month of December. A total of 2,567 families benefited from the distribution we made this month. The total amount of coal distributed during the month of December was 770 tons."

Işık continued: "We are also continuing the distribution of materials that people in camps especially need in winter such as blankets, beds, stoves, coats, and boots. We thank all our donors for their support."
