IHH sponsors marriage of 10 couples in Sierra Leone
Continuing its relief activities in Africa at full speed, IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation has carried out a very significant project in Sierra Leone.
Africa, SierraLeone 08.05.2013
IHH continues to extend a helping hand to the people in need in Sierra Leone through various projects. The country is among the four poorest countries in the world.

IHH which earlier took relief to Sierra Leone on the occasion of “Orphan Solidarity Days,” “Cataract Surgery Project,” “Qurbani Project,” and “Water Well Project,” recently helped many young people to marry by organizing a mass wedding ceremony in the country.

The ceremony was organized by IHH’s local partner, “Why Islam” in Sierra Leone and 10 young people, who recently converted to Islam, got married.

The wedding ceremony took place in Grafton, 15 kilometers away from capital city of Freetown. The newly-wed couples were given some financial assistance to help them start a new life.
