IHH started off with the slogan “May the blessings of Ramadan spread on earth.”
In Ramadan the IHH team will travel far distances to the co-continent to help the needy and the immigrants and will also knock on the doors of orphaned families to share the blessings of Ramadan.
Those who are donors and who wish to strengthen ties of brotherhood in faraway lands will be happy to know that their donations (such as sadaka, fitre and zakah) will reach the countries of their choice.
For over 20 years, IHH has hosted Ramadan iftar dinners, distributed food aid and food stores. Again this year, their aim is to put a smile on orphaned children and familes. Through the Ramadan 2014 Orphan Children Campaign, it has prepared the Eid Clothing Project and Ramadan Childrens Packages scheme.
We prepared Ramadan Children Packages firstly by determining the needs of the children. The price for one package is valued to be 15 USD.
Out of the 10,000 packages prepared, 9,000 will be distributed within Turkey and 1,000 will be distributed to the orphans in Syria.
