Clashes between the military and the Rapid Support Forces have plagued Sudan for the past four months. This have led to shortages of food, water, medicine, and fuel in various regions of the country. Over three million people in Sudan have also been displaced from their homes. International reports indicate that approximately 25 million people out of the 46 million population are in need of assistance.

Distribution Planned Across Sudan’s Various Regions

In June, IHH launched a major emergency relief campaign for Sudan named Guided by Goodness, En Route to Sudan. In this campaign, IHH sent 15 containers of aid supplies including food, hygiene items and blankets to the country. The aid materials, transported by sea, have reached the port of Port Sudan. These supplies will be distributed across the North, South, Central, and East Darfur provinces, as well as the Nile, Blue Nile, Khartoum, Gezira, and the Northern states.
