Hygiene Education and Materials to Syrian Children
IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation and Mercy Malaysia has signed an agreement to give hygiene and health education to 2 thousand Syrian children in Turkey.

Children who became refugees after suffering years in the war are waiting for help. IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation continue mediating between charitable people and needy. Within this scope, IHH and Mercy Malaysia has signed an agreement to cooperate giving health and hygiene education to Syrian children in Turkey.

2 Thousand Children Will Benefit

The agreemen has signed between IHH General Secretary Yavuz Dede and President of Mercy Malaysia Dato’ Dr. Ahmad Faizal Mohd Perdaus in IHH headquarters in İstanbul. The agreement covers distribution of hygiene packs and giving education to 2 thousand Syrian refugee children in Turkey. The agreement will be developed with other projects to protect the health of the refugees.

IHH-UN’s Comprehensive Cash and In-Kind Support Project for Families in Syria
As a result of the collaboration between the İHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation and the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs' Syria Cross-Border Humanitarian Fund (SCHF), a total of 371,475 USD in cash assistance and 3,450 food parcels were distributed over the period of 9 months to 1,150 families living in the Racu region of Afrin district in Syria.
