Speaking in the ceremony held in front of the Mevlana Culture Center, the president of IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation, said that giving the name of Mavi Marmara martyrs names to the trucks for Syria pull his heartstrings.

Pointing out that Mavi Marmara incident is a milestone in Islamic world, President Yıldırım ¨Some things have changed in the world and they will continue to change... We witnessed this while we are alive and we will be in the future, also. We believe that; Mavi Marmara is going on its way on the sea and now on the shore. It will bring many cruel systems into peaces inshallah. After 4 years, it still remains on the agenda of the world. Why? Because we were with the oppressed.¨

¨2 Thousand 100 trucks loaded of humanitarian relief to Syria¨

Pointing out that they cannot be indifferent to the incidents in Syria, Yıldırım said they have been launching great campaigns since the day when the war started, he continued as:

¨I thank very much to my brothers who say ¨I am with the oppressed¨. You filled these vehicles. You prepared 15 trucks of humanitarian relief. You have given 9 of them the names of our brothers who were martyrized on Mavi Marmara. At present, the number of trucks IHH has sent to Syria has exceeded 2 thousand 100. Inshallah this number will reach 3 thousand in a short time. Unfortunately there is nobody apart from us who have been working properly inside the boundaries. Syrian regime has been bombing Aleppo and it is also bombing Ishida. About 4 millions of people have fled. Where can they go? They came to the boundaries. We have been wretched by meeting their need. We are not sufficient. We are shouting out. Where are you O, humanitarian relief organizations?¨
