Carur was injured in an Israel attack in the Gaza Strip and was brought to Turkey by the IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation for medical treatment eight months ago. He learnt the sad news of the death of his older brother in the latest Israeli strikes in a phone conversation with his mother.
Carur was shocked by the news and collapsed to the ground in tears. He could not sleep the whole night.
"My brother was released four months ago after serving four years in an Israeli jail. He asked for my email address to get into touch. He said he missed me. Israeli strike killed him," the Palestinian boy said.
Carur is concerned his other brother might also have been killed since he could not been contacted for a while.
Injured by missile parts fired from Israeli jets, Carur wants to return to Palestine as soon as he recovers.
Carur was consoled by IHH officials during the anti-Israeli protest. I cannot find the appropriate words to describe the Israeli violence; therefore, I will show my reaction by remaining silent, he said.
