Orphan Educational Campus in Çatalca
The Board of Directors of the IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation met with the Director of the Qatar Charity’s Türkiye Office and its Construction Projects Specialist to sign project agreements for the Çatalca Educational Campus.

IHH Board of Directors, Qatar Charity Türkiye Office Director, and its Construction Projects Specialist convened at the IHH headquarters. In the meeting, agreements for the Çatalca Educational Campus project were finalized. The signing ceremony was participated by IHH General Secretary Durmuş Aydın, IHH Board of Trustees Member Mehmet Gülsatar, IHH Board Member Yakup Işık, Qatar Charity Türkiye Office Director Yusuf Hammad, Qatar Charity Türkiye Office Manager Kerem Ali, and Qatar Charity Construction Projects Specialist Cemal Kasım.

The Goal: High-Standard Education

"Allah willing, Hayat City Campus will be a high standard educational home where students from various countries can continue their education while engaging in different sports activities, fine arts, IT, and vocational training courses," said Durmuş Aydın about the Hayat City Orphan Educational Campus.

"Our Goal is to Lighten the Burden of Orphans"

Yusuf Hammad added that "This project, carried out in partnership between Türkiye and Qatar, will help to further our efforts. Our goal is to support children who have lost their families and help them become independent."

A New Home for 1.200 Orphans

The Çatalca Educational Campus, planned by IHH and Qatar Charity, aims to provide a new home for 1.200 orphans, including those affected by the 2023 earthquakes in Türkiye and Syria, as well as those facing poverty in Africa and Asia. The Hayat City Orphan Educational Campus will be built on a 88,244 square meter area, with a project area of 35,623 square meters, and aims to meet the educational, cultural, and spiritual needs of 1.200 orphans. The campus will provide a quality education environment, helping orphans grow into well-educated individuals who will become leaders in their communities.

Israel is Killing Gaza’s Healthcare System
The occupying Israeli regime, which has committed genocide in Gaza, has brought the healthcare system to a near standstill through its deliberate attacks on hospitals and medical personnel. According to the World Health Organization (WHO) data, since October 7, 2023, health facilities and ambulances in Gaza have been targeted at least 516 times. Over 1,000 healthcare workers have been killed in these attacks, and approximately 300 medical personnel are currently held in Israeli prisons.
