The IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation participated in the 9th Effective Cooperation Conference for Better Humanitarian Aid organized by the International Islamic Charitable Organization (IICO) in Kuwait.

The IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation together with its International Relations and Disaster management Departments participated in the Humanitarian Networks and Partnerships Weeks 2024 on May 6-10.

The IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation participated in the UN’s Civil Society Conference in Kenya’s capitol Nairobi.

The Sphere Training of Trainers was organized at the IHH Gaziantep International Coordination Office. The 5-day training program involved 20 participants from 10 different organizations operating in various cities.

A group of 20 students and academics from the International Social Services Department of Copenhagen University College visited the headquarters of the IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation.

With the Syria Cross-Border Humanitarian Fund (SCHF) of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, IHH provided cash aid to 1,150 families living in the Racu region of Afrin, Syria, between December 2023 and March 2024, with a total of $296,465 in cash support.

Under the leadership of the IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation, a march was organized in Üsküdar to protest the inhumane attacks of the occupying Israel in Gaza. Tens of thousands of participants conveyed a message of support to Palestine.

The International Freedom Flotilla Coalition issued a press conference following Guinea-Bissau's decision, under pressure from Israel, to withdraw the flags of the two ships in the flotilla. The statement emphasized that despite the pressure and attempts to hinder their progress, the flotilla will continue with determination and make every effort to set sail.

"A march to Remember Gaza" was organized in Istanbul by the Foundation for Humanitarian Relief (IHH) and the International Freedom Flotilla Coalition (FFC). The march started at Beyazıt Square and ended at Ayasofya Mosque Square.

The International Freedom Flotilla Coalition held a press conference regarding the flotilla that will set sail to deliver Humanitarian aid to Gaza. Speaking at the conference, Huwaida Araf from Us Boat to Gaza stated, "The Freedom Flotilla Movement, with the support of millions of people, has prepared to sail on this journey due to the silence and inaction in the face of the massacre that has been taking place in Gaza over the past six months." Ann Wright from Us Boat to Gaza also mentioned, "Preparations are ongoing, and we will inform the public about the departure date in the very near future."

A humanitarian aid ship prepared jointly by IHH and Kuwait Society for Relief has set sail from Mersin Port with 907 tons of various aid for the people of Gaza.

IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation reached 4 million 290 thousand people during its Ramadan activities this year. Focusing its efforts particularly in Palestine and other war and crisis regions, IHH carried out aid activities in 62 countries, including Türkiye.

IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation provides iftar meals to 60,000 people in Syria during the first 20 days of Ramadan.

Bülent Yıldırım, the President of the Humanitarian Relief Foundation (IHH), inspected two purchased ships for the International Freedom Flotilla. Yıldırım stated, "This cargo ship has a capacity of 5,500 tons and its name is Anadolu. It will carry our country's aid and compassion to Gaza. The name of other ship is Vicdan (Conscience). This ship will accommodate conscientious activists from around the world and deliver the conscience of the world to the shores of Gaza."

IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation’s “Goodness withstands the cold” winter campaign has distributed supplies such as coal, blankets, mattresses, food parcels, coats and boots to 15.744 families in north Syria.
