The İHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation has been continuing its aid efforts in Gaza, where the humanitarian crisis is growing due to the massacres committed by the occupying Israeli forces. Since October 7th, the foundation has provided support to tens of thousands of people in areas such as food, blankets, and medical supplies.

The Palestinian Initiative Platform organized the "Hand in Hand for the Gaza Strip" in many cities across Türkiye to draw attention to Israel’s heinous attack on Gaza. In Istanbul, tens of thousands of people marched from Edirnekapı to the Blue Mosque Square, where participants formed a 3.5-kilometer human chain along the route.

A massive rally was held at the Incirlik Air Base as part of the IHH-led "Freedom Convoy for Palestine". The event was made in response to the call from people all over Türkiye to support Palestine and protest the Israeli attacks on Gaza.

To give a voice to the oppressed in Gaza, thousands of vehicles and tens of thousands of compassionate friends of Palestine from all corners of Turkey will set off from Istanbul Ataturk Olympic Stadium at 10:00 on Friday, November 3, 2023, and reach Incirlik Air Base at 14:00 on Sunday, November 5, 2023.

IHH chairman Bülent Yıldırım announced that a convoy will be organized to go to Incirlik Base with vehicles from all over Türkiye in order to take action and create a civilian reaction to the humanitarian disaster in Gaza. In the statement, "We will set off from Istanbul on Friday. We will visit the provinces and go to Incirlik Base.
