The 5th International Symposium on Islamic Culture and Civilization will convene in Kocaeli from May 8–10, 2026, to address the legal, sociological, psychological, and jurisprudential (fiqh) issues of Muslim minorities worldwide. Bringing together academics, NGO representatives, and experts from international organizations—spanning from the Philippines to Georgia, and Europe to North America—the event provides a comprehensive platform for discussing topics ranging from historical contexts to contemporary challenges, and religious practices to political representation. Over three days, ten sessions and an evaluation panel will explore the experiences of global Muslim minorities and propose viable solutions.
