Thirty-year-old Amine walked for six days to reach Al-Hidayah Camp from Baydhaba. Along the way, she faced heat, thirst, and exhaustion. During that difficult journey, she lost two of her children. Despite everything she has been through, Amine continues to stay strong for her three surviving children.
She now lives with them in Al-Hidayah Camp. Life is still difficult, and resources are limited. But they know they are no longer facing it alone. When we delivered iftar meals to the camp, the joy on Amine’s face was clear. Seeing her children eat gave her real peace.
“Thanks to the iftar meals you provide, we can now go to sleep full at night,” she said.
For Amine’s family, each iftar means a night without hunger and a reminder that someone still remembers them.
