'I knew you'd come again this year'
Murat Türk 30.04.2026
Our first stop after the Eid morning prayer was Yurevka village. While we were distributing shares, an elderly man heard we'd come from Türkiye and asked, "Can I hug you?" We embraced him warmly. He told us: "IHH comes to our village every Qurban. They never leave us alone. I knew you'd come again this year. No one else visits us, no one else asks about us."
Watching the qurban shares we delivered bring a happy holiday to dozens of families, and seeing the bonds of brotherhood between us grow stronger because of it, was the greatest joy we could have asked for.
